My New Rooms!

After having all of my craft room goodies shoved in our guest room for 2 1/2 months, BOTH rooms are now put back together!  We finally picked out carpet and had it installed while we were at the lake.  All that we have left to do now is tile the bathroom (are we crazy in thinking we're going to tile ALL of the bathrooms?!)

Vacay!!

We are so lucky to have at our fingertips my in-laws lake house in the Ozarks.  We love having friends down on the weekends.  This summer we decided to spend a week there as our summer vacation.  We LOVED it!

We had a wonderful week but were definitely ready to come home (I missed my shower!). 

We came home to new carpet which was REALLY exciting!  I'm in the process now of setting up my new and improved and organized craft room.  Picts to come soon!!

Table Runner

Almost 2 weeks ago now I spent the day with Megan crafting.  We started by looking up some tutorials then headed to the stores to pick up our supplies. (and a quick stop at Panera for lunch!)

While Megan worked on a super cute skirt, I made a table runner for our kitchen table.  (I can't wait to have a dining room so I can have a dinning room table to really decorate!!)

Don't look too closely, the edges definitely aren't straight!  But overall, I think it's pretty cute!!

Close up of the pattern.  It's almost a burnt orange color.

The back side is brown, so it's reversible!  And the ends on the pattern side have a rectangle of brown.

Happy 4th of July everyone!!



We've had a pretty low-key day so far.  I worked out this morning then my parents came down for lunch.  It took us awhile to find a resteraunt open-4th time was the charm!  Now we're just hanging out at the house.  Headed down to a bbq in a little bit at a house down the street.  I'm hoping we'll get to shoot some of our fireworks from last year and also see some bigger ones too!
